My concern in the coming election...

My concern in the coming election is that the democrats do not cite a woman's right to choose abortion as a key issue. I support many of the justice issues but I would like to see a consistent ethic on the right to life --concern for the whole human person from womb to tomb. So I am a strong peace advocate and I am against all forms of violence.  I believe our generation must again claim our humanness which calls for a profound respect for all human persons and for all of creation. We must stop the wars - stop the destruction of our planet earth - find ways of bringing justice to all people. 

I felt that Dennis Kucinich addressed many of those key issues and I would support him again with the hope that he would include the unborn in his concern for life. I think the creation of a department of Peace would be an answer to many problems facing the world today - hopefully learning the art of negotiation. That was one of President Carter's greatest contributions to our world when he was president.
